The Tanner Bates Memorial Fund was established in 2021 to provide scholarships and educational opportunities for youth and teens in Saline County. Established by his family and loved ones, Tanner’s memorial fund honors his achievements in baseball and his time served coaching youth. This scholarship will continue Tanner’s legacy by providing kids the financial assistance to pursue a college degree in a field of their choice.
In order to sustain funding, The Bates Memorial hosts an annual Disc Golf Tournament in Tanner’s honor. We would love you invite you to join us for this event at Hindman Park in Little Rock on May 18th. This doubles tournament has flights starting at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm and includes two rounds of disc golf and lunch.
