Looking back over the last few months we have definitely had a blast while raising the necessary funding for growing our phenomenal programs. From our first fundraiser of the year, the Ladies Tea Party, to our most recent, Helmets and Heels, it’s been a lot of work but we have had a lot of fun doing it! Here’s a quick fundraising recap!

Our Ladies Tea Party continues to grow and draw women and girls of all ages who leave feeling inspired and having supported an amazing cause! This year our ladies were blessed with a message from speaker Dani Hardy, and our kiddos were treated to a story from our very own Brenda Wells. Thanks to all those who were in attendance and our incredible sponsors (SkinFix MedSpa, Pretties & Grace, Peoples Bank, Bethany Pike Bibles, and The Kleiver Family) we were able to raise over $7,000.00 at this event to support our programs!

When you pair a delicious breakfast with an incredible cause you can’t help but host an incredible event…and that’s just what you get with our Breakfast with an EMpact Event! Each year we team up with Vibrant Occasions Catering and they serve up breakfast fresh from the food truck from the parking lot at First Security Bank. And each year the food gets better and better! This year we were able to serve record breaking numbers…we sold out, y’all…325 meals!, and the fundraiser raised over $5,400.00 to put to work in our community! We couldn’t have done it without you and the support of Vibrant Occasions Catering and First Security Bank!

Our Dunk 4 Donations event came with its own set of crazy obstacles to overcome this year! We usually host in conjunction with Downtown Benton Third Thursday but with record breaking heat the week of our even that was cancelled! We didn’t let that stop us though! With the support of Riverside Grocery and Catering we packed up our tank and moved to their beautiful space near the river and never missed a beat. Thanks to the hard work of each of our “Dunkers”: Luke Kordsmeier, Chad Hendrix, Pam Jones, Brooke Plack, Jazz Scott, Bryant Mayor Chris Treat, Preston Madison, and Andrew Norris; this event brought in another record of over $6,500.00! Our top “Dunker” this year was Chad Hendrix of the Everett Auto Group raising $2,000.00 to help us hit our goal!

Helmets and Heels got a brand new venue and an added Downtown Benton Boutique Crawl this year to make sure it was a Touchdown!! With the help of our vendors: Stated, Wild, This Little Piggy, SOCO-South and Coco, Tantrums, J.Bloom Jewelry, LImelife, Willow and Grace, Urban Retreat, Let’s Get Linked by TG, Charleigh & Co, The Corner Downtown, Radiant Boutique, Ashley Street Co, SkinFix MedSpa, LIttle Sadie James Children’s Boutique; and our incredible sponsors: SkinFix MedSpa, Pretties & Grace, Bryant Foot and Ankle Clinic, First Electric Cooperative, People’s Bank, and The Plumbing Warehouse, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and Golden Eagle of Arkansas; we put together an amazing evening that won’t soon be forgotten! This event raised almost $10,000.00 so that we can continue to provide opportunities for youth in our community!
